Solution

Dear Student
Let
the present age of B = x yrs
Now, present age of A = 2x yrs
5 YEARS AGO :
age of B = x-5 yrs
age of A = 2x-5 yrs
Now, according to question :2x - 5 = 3(x - 5)
2x - 5 = 3x - 15
2x - 3x = -15 + 5
-x = -10x = 10
So, present age of B = 10 yrs
present age of A = 20 yrs
