The correct option is D 2x - y - 2 = 0 Let A=(2,2) and
B=(x,y)
Given,the lenght of the line segment AB is √5
=>√(2−x)2+(2−y)2=√5
=>4+x2−4x+4+y2−4y=5
=>x2+y2−4x−4y=−3
By using trial and error method we take x=1,putting the value we get,
12+y2−4(1)−4y=−3
=>y2−4y=−0
∴y=0
∴ The coordinates of B=(1,0)
We know the equation of the line is y=mx+c
Now, the slope (m)=y2−y1x2−x1
=>0−21−2
=2
