Solution

The correct option is C 40000
P=12×168200=Rs.84100
Let's show of B be x=show of A=(Px)
Amount received by A on age 20
A1=P(1+r100)n=(Px)(1+5100)5
Amount received by B on age 20
A2=P(1+r100)n=(x)(1+5100)7
Given that A1=A2
(px)(1.05)5=x(1.05)7
On solving we get, x=40,000
