Now, for the amount of paper required to cover the match box we need to calculate the surface area of the match box

We know that

Surface area for the match box$=2(lb+bh+lh)$

$=2\left(4\times 2.5+2.5\times 1.5+4\times 1.5\right)$

$=2\left(10+3.75+6\right)$

$=2\times 19.75$

$=39.5c{m}^2$
