Q-value of the reaction is 4MeV i.e. k1+k2=4MeV ........... (i) By conservation of linear momentum p1=p2⇒√2(216)k1=√2(4)k2⇒k2=54k1 ............. (ii) On solving equation (i) and (ii) we get k2=3.9MeV
