A person moves 30 m north and then 20 m towards east and finally 302m in south west direction. Find displacement of the person from the origin.

Given that,
Person goes in north direction =30m
Person goes in east direction =20m
Person goes in south –west direction =302m

So, the displacement is

Displacement = final position –initial position
D=302(30)2+(20)2
D=3021013
D=6.38m
Hence, the displacement is 6.38 m
