The correct option is C 0.4 g cm3
Given:
Mass of the disc, m=125 g
Diameter of the disc, d=22 cm
Thickness of the disc, t=34 cm

Radius of the disc:
r=d2
r=22 cm2=11 cm

Volume of the disc:
V=πr2t
V=3.14×112×34
V285.1 cm3

Density of the disc:
d=mV
d=125285.1
d=0.4384 g cm3

For the disc to float, the liquid's density (ρl) should be greater than that of the disc, i.e. ρl>0.4384 g cm3
Among the given options, only the liquid with density 0.4 does not satisfy this and hence, the body will sink in this liquid.
