=50sin53=50×45
=40 ms1
We know, vy=usinθgt (during upward journey) and vy=gt (during downward journey)
So, vy first decreases and then increases during the projectile motion.
Hence, option (a) is incorrect
ux=ucosθ
=50×35=30 ms1
As the horizontal component remains constant. Thus, option (b) is correct
Velocity is minimum when its vertical component becomes 0
umin=ucosθ=30 ms1.
That is at the highest point.
