Each triangle formed by diagonals = $\frac{1}{4}$${}^{th}$ area of rectangle. Thus area of shaded triangle= $\frac{1}{8}$${}^{th}$ area of rectangle, remaining area= $\frac{7}{8}$${}^{th}$ of the rectangle. Thus ratio of costs: 3x $\left(\frac{1}{8}\right):1x\left(\frac{8}{4}\right)$; = 3:7.
