Solution

Step 1: Find the cost price of fans:

The Cost price of 10 fans =1250×10

=12500

Step 2: Find the selling price of fans:

The Selling price of 6 fans =6×1375

=8250

The Selling price of the remaining 4 fans=4×1200

=4800

Total Selling price =8250+4800

=13050

Here, the selling price is more than the cost price.

Step 3: Find the profit:

Profit=SellingPrice-CostPrice

=13050-12500

=550

Therefore, he gains a profit of550
