Given:-
Shopkeeper buys $5$ fans for: $R s 4050$
Transportation cost : $R s 50$
$∴$ Cost price $= R s 4050 + R s 60$
$= R s 4100$
Gain $(%) = 15 %$
$∴$ Formula:- gain $(%) = \frac{100 \times [s e l l i n g p r i c e (S . P) - c o s t p r i c e (S . P)]}{c o s t p r i c e}$
$15 = \frac{100 \times [S . P - 4100]}{4100}$
$S . P = 41 \times 15 + 4100$
$S . P = 615 + 4100$
$S . P = R s 4715$
Ans. Selling price of $5$ fans $= R s 4715$
Thus selling price of $1$ fan $= \frac{R s 4715}{5} = R s 943 / -$
