Solution

The cost price of 12 eggs =18

cost price of 1 egg=1812=1.50

Profit=20%ofC.P

=20100×1.50=0.30

We know that :

Selling price = cost price +profit

=1.50+0.30=1.80

Hence, the selling price of one egg is 1.80.
