Solution

The correct option is C Rs. 388.80
Let, the Cost Price of the article =C.P.=Rs. x
Then x+10% of x=Rs. 21384
x+10x100=21384

x+x10=21384

11x10=21384

x=21384011=Rs. 19440

Actual rate of tax=8%
Selling Price after taxS.P.=19440+8% of 19440
19440+8100×19440

19440+1555.2=Rs. 20995.20
Profit made by shopkeeper=Rs. (2138420995.20)=Rs. 388.80
