The speed of the sound, distance traveled and the time taken relationship is given as follows.

Speedofsound=DistancetraveledTimetaken

From this equation the Distance traveled is derived as

Distancetraveled=Speedofsound×Timetaken

But, the speed or velocity of the sound is given as,

speedofsound=Frequency×Wavelength

In the question, the frequency is 320 Hz and the wavelength is 0.25 m.

So, Speedofsound=320Hz×0.25m=80m/s

Now, Distancetraveled=Speedofsound×Timetaken

That is, Distancetraveled=80m/s×10seconds=800m.

Hence, the distance traveled by the sound wave in 10 seconds is 800 meters.
