A tank is 8 m long, 6 m broad and 2 m high. How much water can it contain?
Length of tank (l)= 8 m Breadth (b) = 6 m Height (h) = 2 m ∴ Volume of water in the tank = l×b×h=8×6×2=96m3 = 96×1000=96000 liters (∵1m3=1000 litre)
