Given:
v1 = 54 km/h = 15 m/s
t1 = 30 minutes = 1800 sec
v2 = 72 km/h = 20 m/s
t2 = 120 minutes = 7200 sec
Displacement travelled in the t1
=>s1 = v1t1 = 27000 m
Displacement travelled in the t2
=>s2 = v2t2 = 144000 m
Thus, Avg. velocity =Total distance coveredTotal time

=>27000 m + 144000 m1800 sec + 7200 sec => 19 m/s
