v=m1×u1+m2+u2m1+m2
m1 = 500kg,
u1 = 4 m/s
m2 = 1500kg
u2 = 2 m/s
v=500+4+1500×2500+1500v=2000+30002000v=50002000v=50002000v=2.5 m/s
This is their common velocity after collision.
