A wire of resistance R is bent in form of a closed circle, what is the resistance across a diameter of the circle?

we know that resistance is directly proportional to length of the wire so resistance of two halves of wire on both sides of diameter will be R/2 and R/2 these two are connected in parallel so equivalent resistance will be R/4
