Question

Abdul has 3 stones weighing 6 kg, 5 kg and 2 kg.
Using these stones he want to weigh 4 kg of firewood on the weighing balance.
How could he do that?

Abdul can keep the stone of 6 kg on the left pan and stone of 2 kg on the right pan with firewoods and then he can weigh 4 kg of wood. The difference of 6 kg of stone and 2 kg of stone will be 6 – 2 = 4 kg will give the weight of firewood.
