above it says that blood flows at high pressure in the arteries butnblood in the vein does not flow at high pressure, why

Solution

As the arteries carry blood away from heart and veins bring blood towards heart. The heart pumps blood with high pressure. So the blood in the arteries has a higher pressure than the blood in the veins.
