Dear student,
Yes, the organisms classified under Kingdom Monera and Kingdom Protista shows diversity as both possess variety or different characteristics.
Kingdom Monera includes organisms that do not have a well-defined nucleus or membrane-bound organelles and these are known as prokaryotes. E.g, archaebacteria, eubacteria, cyanobacteria etc.
Monerans are decomposers, used for producing cheese and vinegar. These are also used for the production of antibiotics and act as a bio control agents for harmful pests.
Kingdom Protista, on the other hand, includes organisms with a well-defined nucleus and membrane-bound organelles and these organisms are called eukaryotes. E.g, protozoans, slime moulds and unicellular algae.
Protists are used as a dietary supplements and as a thickening agents in various products like toothpaste, ice cream etc.
Regards.
