The correct option is A 4 cm/s away from the mirror
For a concave mirror, we use the mirror formula
1u+1v=1f

Now, given u=60 cm , f=24 cm

Putting the values in the expression,

1v=124+160

This gives, v=40 cm

Now, for relating the velocities, we differentiate the mirror formula,to obtain,

uu2vv2= 0

Now, u=9cm/s

Substituting these values, we get

93600=v1600

v=4 cm/s
