Arrange the following in decreasing percentage of freshwater contained in them:
Groundwater, Glaciers, Rivers, Atmosphere
Glaciers, Rivers, Groundwater, Atmosphere
Glaciers store the maximum percentage of freshwater followed by rivers. Rivers originate from glaciers and pass through the roots of trees and soil causing seepage of water underground resulting in aquifers. Underground water or aquifers carry less freshwater than rivers but more than atmospheric water. Water in atmosphere is mostly present in the vapour form.
