Open in App
Solution

Most veins usually carry deoxygenated blood from tissues back to the heart but exceptions are the pulmonary and umbilical veins, both of which carry oxygenated blood to the heart. Oxygenated blood from the lungs is circulated back to the heart through the pulmonary veins that drain into the left atrium.
