Allelopathy is a phenomenon associated with plants in which one plant produce some chemical substance, which inhibits the growth of other plant species. In ammensalism one species suffer and other remain unaffected. The association of roots of higher plants with fungi is kind of symbiotic association called as Mycorrhizal association. In this relationship both are benefitted. The fungus obtains sugars from the plant while the plant benefits from the efficient uptake of mineral nutrients by the fungal hyphae. Thus, the correct answer is option C.
