By selling a bicycle at 1334 rupees a shopkeeper would suffer a loss of 8 percent. At how much amount should he sell it to make a profit of 25/2 percent

She is currently selling the bicycle for ₹1334
im which she suffers 8% loss.
Consider x be the original price of the cycle that she buys.
1334= x- 8%(x)
{ negative sign is because she suffer loss}
​​​​​​{1334 is the amount in which her loss is also included}
Now we need to find value of x.
from equation
1334= x- 8x/100
1334= (100x-8x)/100
1334= 92x/100
x= 1334×100/92
x= 1450
₹1450 is the original price.
Now for her to get a profit of 25/2% she should sell bicycle @
25/2% of ₹1450 + ₹1450
i.e. ₹181.25 + ₹1450
i.e. ₹1631.25
