By selling two transistors for $Rs600$, each a shopkeeper gains $20\%$ percent on one transistor and loses $20\%$ percent on the other. Find total $C.P$ and total $S.P$ of both the transistors.

Cost price (CP) of each transistor = $Rs600$

$\therefore$ CP of two transistors = $2\times 600=Rs.1200$

Let the Selling Price of one transistor be $S{P}_1$ and that of the other be $S{P}_2$.

Since, he gains $20\%$ on one transistor, therefore,

$S{P}_1=\frac{100+\text{Gain}\%}{100}\times CP$

$=\frac{100+20}{100}\times 600$

$=\frac{120}{100}\times 600$

$\therefore S{P}_1=Rs.720$

Similarly, he losses $20\%$ on the other transistor, therefore,

$S{P}_2=\frac{100-\text{Loss}\%}{100}\times CP$

$=\frac{100-20}{100}\times 600$

$=\frac{80}{100}\times 600$

$\therefore S{P}_1=Rs.480$

Hence, total selling price of the two transistor = $S{P}_1+S{P}_2=720+480=Rs.1200$
