Open in App
Solution

Anxiety

  1. Anxiety is a feeling of fear, dread, and uneasiness.
  2. It might cause you to sweat, feel restless and tense, and have a rapid heartbeat.
  3. Due to the surge of hormones during anxiety, the blood pressure increases temporarily.
  4. If the adrenal glands make too much aldosterone, cortisol, or hormones similar to adrenaline, it can cause high blood pressure.
  5. High blood pressure ranges above 140/90mmHg.
  6. Low blood pressure is a reading of less than 90/60mmHg.
  7. Normal blood pressure is between 90/60 to 120/80mmHg.
  8. The upper number is systolic and the lower number is the diastolic pressure.
  9. Thus, anxiety can raise diastolic blood pressure.
