Solution

Light microscope:

  1. Light microscopes are used to study living cells and for regular use when relatively low magnification (2000X).
  2. Both living and dead specimens can be viewed by light microscope using light and lenses.

Lysosome:

  1. Lysosomes are membrane-bound tiny spherical organelles found in eukaryotic cells.
  2. Lysosomes contain various digestive enzymes and are involved in various life processes.
  3. As the size of lysosomes is very small (0.1 to1.2 micrometres), lysosomes cannot be visible under the light microscope because of their low magnification.
  4. Lysosomes can only be seen under an electron microscope. whose magnification is high(10,000,000 x).
