We all know that primary amine(CH3CH2CH2NH2) reacts with the nitrous acid(NaNO2/HClorHNO2) to form diazonium salt(CH3CH2CH2N+2). Further addition of water leads to the formation of primary alcohol (CH3CH2CH2OH).
