Construct a cyclic quadrilateral ABCD in which AB=4cm, BC=5cm, CD=2.8cm, and B=60o.

  • Draw a line segment AB of 4cm
  • Man an angle equal to 60o and mark a point C at distance of 5cm from B
  • Taking BC and AC as chords, find perpendicular bisector of both chords.
  • These two meet at point O
  • Taking O as center, draw a circle having radius OB
  • This circle also touches point C and A
  • From the point C, mark an arc of 3cm in the major segment of AB and CB chords
  • Join the point D with C and A
  • The figure obtained is required quadrilateral.
