Steps of construction :

1. Draw a line segment BD of length 6.6 cm.
2. With B as centre and radius of 4 cm, draw an arc.
3. With D as centre and radius of 6.4 cm, draw an arc.
4. These two arcs intersect at a point C.
5. Join BC and DC.
6 Similarly construct a $Δ B A D$ with BD as base and BA = 4.4 cm and DA = 2.8 cm.
7. Join BA and DA.
8. ABCD is the required quadrilateral
