Construct a quadrilateral ABCD in which AB = 4.4 cm, BC = 4 cm, CD = 6.4 cm, DA = 2.8 cm and BD = 6.6 cm. [3 MARKS]

Construction : 2 Marks

Steps of construction :

1. Draw a line segment BD of length 6.6 cm.
2. With B as centre and radius of 4 cm, draw an arc.
3. With D as centre and radius of 6.4 cm, draw an arc.
4. These two arcs intersect at a point C.
5. Join BC and DC.
6 Similarly construct a ΔBAD with BD as base and BA = 4.4 cm and DA = 2.8 cm.
7. Join BA and DA.
8. ABCD is the required quadrilateral
