Construct a rhombus ABCD, with diagonals AC = 6 cm and BD = 4.6 cm.

Concept : In rhombus diagonals bisect each other perpendicularly.

Steps of construction :

1. Draw a line segment AC of length 6 cm.
2. Draw a perpendicular bisector for AC. Let the point of intersection be O.
3. With O as centre, draw two arcs of radius 2.3 cm on either side of AC. [BD=4.6OB=OD=2.3cm]
4. Name them as D and B. Join AD, CD, AB and CB to complete the rhombus ABCD.
5. ABCD is the required rhombus.
