Influenza flu:

  1. Causal organism: Virus
  2. Symptoms: Fever, body ache, running nose
  3. Prevention: One should avoid close contact with infected individuals, and clean the hands frequently.
  4. Treatment: vaccination; rest.
  5. Vaccination is a treatment in which dead or inactivated doses of the infection-causing organism is administered into the human body in a very minute amount.

Typhoid:

  1. Causal organism: Bacteria
  2. Symptoms: Diarrhea, abdominal pain, fatigue, headache, rash.
  3. Prevention: One should avoid eating junk food and raw vegetables, avoid drinking untreated water and wash hands properly prior to or after the meal.
  4. Treatment: Eating well-cooked food and drinking boiled or purified water.

Malaria:

  1. Causal organism: Protozoa
  2. Symptoms: Chill, fever, sweating, diarrhea.
  3. Prevention: One should apply mosquito repellent, keep the doors and window closed during the evening to prevent the entry of mosquitoes into the house, and wear full sleeves clothes.
  4. Treatment: By taking anti-malarial medicines.
