Thermosetting Polymer
.
Example: Bakelite, melamine etc.
Polymers which are mold-able or malleable above a certain temperature and solidifies upon cooling are known as
Thermoplastic Polymer
.
These polymers can be easily reshaped by heating.
Example: Nylon.
