Solution

The correct option is E Both B and D
Vaccine is the solution or product that promotes the immune system. It is made up of killed or weak diseases causing microorganisms. Killed vaccines are made from microorganisms killed by physical methods (heating) or chemical methods (phenol, formaldehyde, acetone) to prevent only those diseases for which live vaccines are not available. They provide less protection than live vaccines. Hence immunity develops only after a course of immunization (vaccination) consisting of several inoculations such as MMR vaccine used to induce immunity against measles, mumps and rubella and vaccine for typhoid. No vaccine has been developed yet to prevent the disease of leprosy, it can be treated through multidrug therapy.
Therefore, the correct answer is option E.
