We have the equation for converting temperature in degree Fahrenheit to temperature in degree Celsius as,

TC0100=TF32180

Let the initial atmospheric temperature be TF=x0F

Hence,

TC0100=x32180

or

TC=(x32)(59)0C

If temperature rises by 180F,

Then, final temperature, TF1=(x+18)0F

Hence,

TC10100=x+1832180

or

TC1=(x14)(59)0C

Therefore, rise in temperature,

TC1TC=(x14x+32)(59)=100C
