Suppose we have a mixed fraction as: $\text{Whole}\frac{\text{Numerator}}{\text{Denominator}}$,

then its improper fraction is given as: $\frac{\text{Whole}\times \text{Denominator + Numerator}}{\text{Denominator}}$

For $9\frac{3}{7}$, on substituting the values we get:

$9\frac{3}{7}=\frac{(9\times 7)+3}{7}=\frac{63+3}{7}=\frac{66}{7}$
