CH2=CH2+HBrCH3CH2Br

CH3CH2Br+Ag2OH2OCH3CH2OH+AgBr

CH3CH2OH+Al2O33000C−−CH2=CH2

Moist Ag2O releases OH in low concentration as AgOH is a weak base.
