Open in App
Solution

On the basis of evolution, organisms are classified as primitive or evolved organisms. Organisms that have a primitive cellular design are termed as prokaryotes, while organisms that are evolved and have a complex cellular structure are called eukaryotic organisms. Eukaryotes may either be unicellular or multicellular in the organisation and are further classified on the basis of similarities and differences in the body design, mode of nutrition and development.
