(a) Solution: It is a homogenous mixture (a mixture in which no more solute can be dissolved) of two or more components.

examples of the solution:

  1. coffee with milk - solvent: coffee, solute: milk
  2. saltwater - solvent: water, solute: salt
  3. air freshener - solvent: air, solute: scent
  4. brass - solvent:zinc , solute:copper

(b) Solute: The Substances which dissolve in the solvent.

(c) Solvent: The liquid in which a solute is dissolved to form a solution.
