Here, θ=,30 and r=4cm

Area of sector OPAB = θ360×πr2=30360×3.14×4×4cm2

=3.14×43cm2=4.153cm2

Area of corresponding major sector
= Area of sector OA QB

= πr2θ360×πr2

= πr2(1θ360)

= 3.14×4×4(1θ360)cm2

= 3.14×4×4×1112cm2=3.14×443cm2=46.05cm2
