Slope of y =x is m = 1
Slope of perpendicular line will be -1 .
Equation of line which passes through (-2,-1) and slope = -1 is
y-y1= m(x-x1)
y -(-1)= (-1) (x-(-2))
y+1= -1(x+2)
y+1 = -x-2
y= -x-2-1
y=-x-3 is the required equation
