Find the equations of the lines passing through point $(-2,0)$ and equally inclined to the co-ordinate axes.

The line is equally inclined to both axes. So the line will intersect the $x$-axis at the point $(a,0)$ and the $y$-axis at the point $(0,a)$

And the equation of the line is of the form,

$\frac{x}{a}+\frac{y}{b}=1$

$x+y=a$

The point $(-2,0)$ will satisfy this equation.

$-2+0=a$

$a=-2$

So, the line is $x+y=-2$
