Here, degree of expression of 2x2 + 4yz2 + (3xy)2 is 4 as the highest sum of exponents of the variables is that of the third term i.e. (3xy)2 is 4
Similary degree of expression of 2x3 + 3y2 + y3z4 is 7 as sum of exponents of variables is 7 in the third term i.e. y3z4
Similary degree of expression of 3xy + yx5 + 2y5x3 is 8 as highest sum of exponents of x and y is 8 in the third term i.e. 2y5x3
