all the paths are equal


If every horizontal length piece in figure (ii) is brought together on one side it will be of same length as figure (i). Similarly, if every vertical length piece in figure (i) is brought together down on one side it will be of same length as figure (i).
Doing the same with figures (iii) and (iv), it can be observed that the length of all the paths is same in all the four figures.
