First, adding $7 - 2 x$ and $5 + 4 x - 5 x^{3}$
$7 - 2 x + (5 + 4 x - 5 x^{3}) = 7 - 2 x + 5 + 4 x - 5 x^{3} = - 5 x^{3} + 2 x + 12 . . . (i)$
Now, finding the sum of $4 x^{3} - 7 x$ and $- x^{3} - x + 1$
$4 x^{3} - 7 x + (- x^{3} - x + 1) = 4 x^{3} - 7 x - x^{3} - x + 1 = 3 x^{3} - 8 x + 1 . . . (i i)$
Step 2: Finding the difference in an algebraic expression
Now, subtracting eqn(ii) from eqn(i), we get
$- 5 x^{3} + 2 x + 12 - (3 x^{3} - 8 x + 1) = - 5 x^{3} + 2 x + 12 - 3 x^{3} + 8 x - 1 = - 8 x^{3} + 10 x + 11$
Hence, the final answer is $- 8 x^{3} + 10 x + 11$
