Solution

Vaccination:

  1. In vaccination, a vaccine against a particular pathogen is introduced into the body.
  2. A vaccine contains the killed or the weakened disease-causing bacteria.
  3. The introduction of the vaccine stimulates the immune system to produce a large number of specific antibodies against the disease-causing bacteria.
  4. Therefore to build immunity against measles in children, vaccination for measles is given.
