Given below are the figures of two cities A and B.
Which of the following statement(s) is/are true about the water table of both the cities?
Water table of City A is likely to be greater
We know that source of the water table is seeping of rainwater or other sources of water through the soil. In the case of city A, the seeping of water is easy as compared to city B. This is because of the presence of pavements in city B which makes seeping of water difficult. So water table in city A is likely to be greater than water table in city B.
